Celebrity Wedding Planner Mindy Weiss on Who’s Tying the Knot Next!

Mindy Weiss is the go-to celebrity wedding planner, having planned nuptials for Katy Perry and Russell Brand, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, and countless others. Next up on her list? Backstreet Boy AJ McLean and fiancée Rochelle Deanna Karidis’ wedding in December.

“I’m most looking forward to that because it’s going to be quite unique,” Mindy tells OK!. “They have a Goth kind of theme going on and I’m going to take that and make it elegant. The challenge is on and I just adore them!”


Now Mindy’s giving people the chance to win a celebrity-worthy event designed by her with her RewriteYour Day Campaign, which launched Wednesday and gives 15 people suffering chronic migraines the opportunity to win an event re-created by Mindy.

“I have three kids and I spoke to one patient who missed their kid’s birthday party — I just can’t imagine that,” Mindy says. “Tell their story to us and then myself along with healthy women and the headache foundation will choose 15 winners where we will go to their city and recreate their day.”

As for Mindy’s favorite celebrity wedding she’s worked on, it’s hard for her to choose.

“I love them all,” she says. “The one I see the most is Heidi and Seal because they renew their vows every year so I’m able to do so many weddings for her! Katy Perry and Russell Brand in India was my biggest challenge and one of the most beautiful.”
