Clip : un troisième Backstreet Boys se la joue solo

On l'attendait avec un son beaucoup plus rock, voire metal, mais A.J. McLean, l'un des quatre Backstreet Boys, a opté pour un son très pop pour son premier album solo. Celui qui se surnommait Johnny No Name lors de concerts dans des clubs rock, a en effet décidé de tenter l'aventure solo, à l'instar de deux de ses petits camarades, Nick Carter et Brian Littrell. Et on lui souhaite plus de succès que ces derniers, dont les carrières solo n'ont jamais décollé.

Sur "Have It All", son premier album solo, A.J. McLean s'est entouré de collaborateurs des Backstreet Boys, dont Kristian Lundin, mais la vraie surprise est qu'il a fait appel à JC Chasez, l'un des anciens membres du boys band *NSync, groupe rival à la grande époque des... Backstreet Boys. A.J. et JC ont écrit deux titres, dont "Teenage Wildlife", premier extrait de ce premier album. C'est une sorte de mélange entre du rock, avec un peu de funk et de dance, explique A.J. à propos de son album.

Pour le clip, le chanteur est allé chercher le chorégraphe Wade Robson, qui a collaboré avec le groupe et d'autres artistes, dont Britney Spears. Robson passe même, pour la première fois, derrière la caméra, et livre un clip un peu décalé, où A.J. passe la soirée dans un club fréquenté par des peluches géantes, qui se livrent à un battle.

We've planned with more rock or even metal. But AJ McLean, a member of the four Backstreet Boys has picked a pop sound for his first solo album. It's the one who nicknamed himself as Johnny No Name during concerts in rock clubs who decided to go solo, following in the footsteps of his two friends Nick Carter and Brian Littrell. And they wish him more success as before.

For 'HAVE IT ALL' - his debut solo album - AJ collaborated with producers from the Backstreet Boys, including Kristian Lundin, but it's a real surprise that he appealed to JC Chasez - an old member from 'NSYNC, rival group in the big epoch of... the Backstreet Boys. AJ and JC wrote two titles together & 'Teenage Wildlife' is the first single from his debut album. It's a mixture of rock with a little funk and dance, explains AJ the sound of his album.

For the Pop Video the singer has chosen Wade Robson who has also collaborated with the Backstreet Boys and other artists as well as with Britney Spears. It was Robson's first time behind the camera. AJ crosses a party in a club which is much frequented by big plush toys which devote themselves to a battle.
