Allie Is Wired brings you another exclusive, this time with Peta Murgatroyd from Dancing With The Stars.
Peta is one of the six professional dancers that make up the amazing DWTS dance troupe. You’ve seen the troupe shake their groove thing in many of the results shows this season.
Born in New Zealand and raised Australia, Peta grew up studying classical ballet for 12 years and then took to ballroom dancing. After competing professionally in the ballroom arena, she fulfilled her lifelong goal of performing on Broadway in Burn the Floor. Peta was the lead female dancer in the show from 2009 until she left in 2010 to pursue a career in film and television. You can spot her almost weekly on this season’s Dancing With the Stars.
We sat down with Peta to find out what it’s like to be part of the debut dance troupe on DWTS, her pre-show rituals, and much more! Also get a behind the scenes look at the New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys’ rehearsal:
