Rich Cronin was singer of the american boyband LFO who also had a hit in our German Charts with "Summer Girls". LFO stands for Light Funky Ones and shouldn't be mixed up with the english electro band. In 2005 he was taken to hospital with constant headaches. He got diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia. After that he did a chemotherapy. In 2006 he went into remission, but this year he had to undergo further medical measures because of a heavy relapse.

Backstreet Boy AJ McLean was the first who expressed his condolences on Twitter and thus brought the tragic news of his death in circulation. The lead singer of LFO was only 35 years old - may he rest in peace!
